Your Neighborhood DRUGGIST for Over Half MISSILDINE’S PHARMACY ‘The Rexall Store.” A Century. Phone No. 4 POST CARDS COST MORE BEGINNING JANUARY 1 No more local mail can be put through the post offices in Polk County and Landrum for one cent after December 31st, according to Postmaster G. I. Henderson of Try on. Envelopes and all cards-that have heretofore been mailed for one cent will require two cents as a result of a law passed by the last session of the Congress. Postmaster Henderson stated that he did not have any of the new two cent post cards on hand nqw and that patrons would have to' buy the old cards and put a one cent stamp on each of them to make them any good. All other first class letters for delivery out side the local office remains at 3 cents each. When the new law goes into effect purchasers of post cards in bulk will be penalized 10 per cent, for every lot of 50 cards. In other words a person can buy 49 cards at the regular price of two cents each, but the 50th card will cost 12 cents. iyi eicua II us ctiiu uuiers wisiiiiig to do some wholesale mailing with in the next week could save $1.20 per hundred cards or $12 per thou sand by buying the one cent cards now and mailing them. He would save $2 per thousand if he bought the one cent cards now and put one cent stamps on them and used them when he got ready.
